Usage

SNMP Parameters Configuration Dialog

Select Config->Snmp Params to set the SNMP parameters to be used while performing the SNMP Operations.

You can create different sets of configuration parameters and select the one to use currently.

This dialog has 3 tabs one to set the common parameters, the other 2 to set the SNMP V2c and V3 version specific parameters.

The Common Parameters tab allows you to

• Select the SNMP version to use
• Set the timeout for the SNMP requests.
• Set the maximum number of times to retry for the SNMP requests.
• Set the port to send the requests to.
• Set the Max-Repetitions & Non-Repeaters to use in SNMP getbulk requests.

The SNMP V2c Parameters tab allows you to

• Set the read, write & notify community strings.

The SNMP V3 Parameters tab allows you to

• Set the Authoritative Engine ID & ContextName to be used while sending the SNMP V3 requests.
• Create USM User entries & set their parameters.
