Usage

Koshna MIB Browser Menubar

The Menu heirarchy is as shown below

File->

• Load MIB -- to load a MIB.
• Unload MIB -- to unload a selected MIB.
• Unload All MIBs -- to unload all the MIBs
• Close Child Window -- to close a window
• Properties -- shows the mib node properties dialog for the selected MIB node if it it is valid
• Print -- to print the text in the window with focus.
• Print Preview -- to preview text the text in the window with focus before printing.
• Print -- to set the page properties while printing.

Edit->

• Undo -- to undo a paste/delete operation done earlier.
• Copy -- to delete selected text and copy it to the clipboard.
• Copy -- to copy selected text to the clipboard.
• Paste -- to paste text copied earlier.
• Delete -- to delete selected text.
• SelectAll -- to select all text in the window that has the focus.

View->

• MibTree -- to show/hide the left window with the MIB tree.
• Output -- to show/hide the bottom window with the Output of the SNMP requests.
• Notification Console -- to show the Notification Console window that logs the Notifications received.

Config->

• Browser Options -- to set the browser parameters.
• Snmp Params -- to set the SNMP parameters.

Snmp->

• Get -- to send a SNMP get request.
• GetNext -- to send a SNMP getnext request.
• GetBulk -- to send a SNMP getbulk request.
• Set -- to send a SNMP set request.
• GetTable -- to retrieve a MIB Table entries .
• Walk -- to retrieve the MIB entries following the selected node.
• Multi-Variable Operations -- to show the Multi Variable SNMP Operations Dialog that can be used to perform SNMP operations wiht more than one MIB variable.
• Stop Request -- to stop waiting for the response to request sent earlier.

Tools->

• Start Notification receiver -- to start the thread listening for SNMP traps & inform messages.
• Stop Notification receiver -- to stop the thread listening for SNMP traps & inform messages.
